Big supporter of devlicious, I don't agree with making this scholarship for females only. While I get the fact that there is not enough women in CS, perhaps it's by choice. There are more women on college campuses than men currently, but significantly more men in CS than females. Women have the same access to education as guys but seem less interested in CS.

Great article! I am a begining programmer and I am trying ot figure out how to do a site for my wife.

I have some .Net experience, played with RoR and spent the afternoon looking into PHP.

RoR does not have any good portals, I don't think I like the PHP language, and there are were several .Net portals to choose from.

This article has convinced me to try Umbraco over DNN, Rainbow, or Mojo.

When working with ASP.NET's MailDefinition property (e.g., from the create user wizard), ASP.NET assumes your email body is in a file. I would like to set the BodyFileName from an embedded resource instead.

I haven't found any way to do this other then to copy the resource to a temporary file. Have you run into this?

Hide the folders using windows explorer like App_Code, Images etc that u dont want to recompile again and again.

this will decrease the build time.
