So today was the first day I was able to get the NoDo update for my Samsung Focus so of course I wanted to update my phone ASAP, but…..

When I ran the update I received the following error:

When I googled for this error (along w/ bitch about it on twitter) I found the following link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2484484#800705B4 .

I tried step 1 which is remove all the history but that did not work

I tried step 2 which was to remove some apps, I removed like 20 apps, but that did not work

I then tried step 2 again but this time I removed ALL developer built apps off the phone (this phone is developer unlocked)…this WORKED.

If you find our self having issues and are getting this error AND your phone is developer unlocked try removing ALL developer builds from the phone.  This solved my problem.

Now back to work.
