Vista SP1 Altered My BIOS?!

Yes it's true.  When I updated to Windows Vista SP1, the process altered the settings in my BIOS.  It disabled my wireless and Bluetooth capabilities!  When the patch was complete, I (obviously) couldn't locate any wireless networks.  Vista told me that I needed to use the button on my computer to turn wireless on.  Only problem...that button doesn't work if wireless is turned off in the BIOS.  It took me a bit to figure out where the real problem was...

So is this why I can no longer use the wireless keyboard that came with my HP? Or is it just another Windows no longer supports my factory hardware sort of thing... Got to love me some Windows. LOL.
