You can get around this by using the plain old XmlSerializer instead, which will serialize everything with &amp;nbsp;public get/set.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But, you still have to be aware of those details to make the choice so i don&amp;#39;t know how much of a gain it is :)&lt;/p&gt;
