Video - XP: After 10 years, why are we still talking about it?

Here's my small contribution to the current avalanche of Uncle Bob references in the .NET world.

This video was recorded at the February's meeting of the Chicago ALT.NET group. This is the presentation that he will be giving as a keynote speech at the SD West conference next month.

The Q&A part of the meeting has also been recorded.

Thanks Sergio, this is a great video. I'm currently on a large project that started out XP and now... can only really be called a SCRUM project. Everything Bob says here about coding for features without thinking about craftsmanship is true in my experience. Maybe it's time to dust off the old devlicio.us account and post about it, if only as a warning to others ;)

Thanks Sergio - and thanks 'Uncle Bob'. This presentation resonated for me - a lot of the problems I'm seeing with Scrum neatly articulated here. I've been trying to put my finger on it for a long time and pretty well everything that Bob says here makes sense.

We always run Scrum as "Scrum with other stuff added". The question why we ever took the stuff out in the first place is neatly answered. Thanks again.
